The Kestenholz fly-in was a great success with some thirty Bucker biplanes flew in to Kestenholz over the August 22-23 weekend for the "75th Jungmann anniversary", embedded in the "Oldtimerflugtage Kestenholz". All in all, close to two hundred vintage airplanes, generally built before 1960, gathered at this temporary airstrip a former military airfield near Kestenholz Switzerland that was re-opened to the public for the second time only since it's closure. The following photos have been taken by one of AirplaneMart.com's photographers and represent only a small fraction of aircraft that where present between August 22 & 23, 2009 at the Kestenholz Oldtimer Airshow. |
